List of ethnic groups known as "Iranian Turks"

The term "Iranian Turks" typically applies to the Iranian Azerbaijanis, the largest Turkic group found in Iran. It can technically apply to any other Turkic group in Iran (or to these groups considered together), including:

Countries and autonomous subdivisions where a Turkic language has official status and/or is spoken by a majority.
Istanbul Turkish, Azeri Turkish, and Turkmen are Oghuz languages
Shahriar, Iranian poet of Azerbaijani ethnicity, who wrote in Azeri Turkish and Persian.
