Isyss was an American R&B girl group whose name stood for "Intelligent Sexy Young Soul Sisters".

Music career

The original members were LeTecia Harrison, Ardena Clark, La'Myia Good (older sister of actress Meagan Good) and lead singer Quierra Davis-Martin. As a group they achieved moderate success in 2002 with their debut album The Way We Do, which included the Hot 100 charting singles "Day & Night" (featuring rapper Jadakiss) and "Single For The Rest Of My Life". During their career they performed the theme song to the short lived BET talk show Oh Drama. They were also nominated for two Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards, winning one. They were the spokespersons for the hair care products "Got 2 B So Smooth". They were later dropped from Arista Records due to poor album sales, before they could release their second album. Ardena Clark was later replaced by a new member "Love" shortly before they broke up due to creative differences. Their only album The Way We Do reached #55 on the Billboard Charts and was certified Gold by the RIAA for selling 500,000 copies.

After Isyss

La'Myia Good and "Love" formed an R&B trio called BAD GYRL. Although BAD GYRL released several videos and songs online, no album was released and they eventually broke up. Now La'Myia Good is focusing on her acting career. Quierra Davis-Martin is pursuing a solo music career. LeTecia Harrison (a former model) has a fashion line and is still working on music. Ardena Clark is studying politics and got married in 2011.
