Jacob Peter Gowy

Jacob Peter Gowy (also Gowi, Gouwi or Gouwy) (c. 1615 – c. 1661) was a Flemish Baroque painter,[1] a student of Peter Paul Rubens. He worked later in England.
He is famous for his painting The Flight of Icarus.
