Jake Williams (born 1974) is a British dance DJ and remixer, who has recorded as JX and Rex the Dog. JX found success in 1993 following a recording contract with Hooj Choons, a United Kingdom dance independent record label.

Chart success

JX was a successful project, selling in excess of 500,000 copies of popular and anthemic dance tracks.[citation needed] Chart entry tracks included "Son Of A Gun" (1994), which gave him his first Top 20 entry at number 13 in the UK Singles Chart, "There's Nothing I Won't Do" (1996), which was his biggest hit, reaching number 4 on the UK Singles Chart, "You Belong To Me" (1995) (number 17) and most recently "Restless", which charted at number 22 in 2004.[1] In 2011 Rex teamed up with Kris Menace to release "POW!".
