Jan Miodek (born June 7, 1946 in Tarnowskie Góry, Silesian Voivodeship), Professor of Wrocław University, is a Polish linguist[1] in the normative tradition. For several years he has held the post of the head (director) of the Institute of Polish Filology at the Wrocław University.
