Jay Livingstone is an American politician who has served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives since July 2013. He is a resident of Beacon Hill, Boston, a member of the Democratic Party. He won a special election to succeed Martha M. Walz, unopposed in the June 25 general election after winning the May 28 primary.[1] He was sworn in July 17, 2013.[2]

Livingstone was raised in North Attleboro, MA. He has practiced law since 1998, working in public and private practice.[3] He currently serves as of counsel at the law firm of Regan, Lane, & Messinger, LLP.[4] Jay Livingstone served as an adjunct professor at Northeastern Law School from August 2009 through June 2013.[5]
