Jesús Gabriel Magdaleno (born November 8, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada) is an undefeated Mexican American professional boxer and is the current WBO NABO Youth Super Bantamweight Champion.[1] He's also the brother of boxer Diego Magdaleno.[2]

Amateur career

Magdaleno was one of the best amateur fighters in the America, he ended his career with a 120-16.[3][4] In 2009 Jesús won both the United States National Championship[5] by beating Rau'shee Warren[6] and won the National Golden Gloves Championship in the Bantamweight division.[7]

Professional career

Jesús is signed to Bob Arum's Top Rank.[8]

On June 6, 2012, Magdaleno knocked out Puerto Rican veteran Carlos Valcárcel in the first round. The bout was televised on ESPN's Friday Night Fights.[9]
