Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. John Isaac Guion (November 18, 1802 – June 6, 1855) was an American politician from Mississippi. He was born in Adams County. From 1842 to 1850, he served two terms in the state senate. In February 1851, with the resignation of John A. Quitman, he became Governor of Mississippi, serving as a Democrat until the end of November of that year.
