John "Johhny" Malpass was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s and 1940s and coach of the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, playing at club level for Featherstone Rovers and Wakefield Trinity, as a Wing, or Centre, i.e. number 2 or 5, or 3 or 4, and coaching at club level for Wakefield Trinity (assistant)[1] and Featherstone Rovers.[2]
