John Strasberg (born May 20, 1941 in New York) is the son of Lee and Paula Strasberg of the Actors Studio, and brother of actress Susan Strasberg.

Over his long career, Strasberg has directed productions of Shakespeare, Ibsen, O'Neill, Odets and Aristophanes. He teaches the Organic Creative Process, which is distinct from the Method made famous by Strasberg's father. He has written a book on his technique and experiences, Accidentally on Purpose: Reflections on Life, Acting, and the Nine Natural Laws of Creativity.

In the 1970s he worked at the National Film Board of Canada and was executive director of the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. In the 1980s, he co-founded The Mirror Repertory Company in New York. His former acting school, John Strasberg's The Real Stage, had branches in New York, Paris, and Montreal. In 1996 he opened John Strasberg Studios, and in 2005 founded the Accidental Repertory Theater, both in New York City.
