Juvenile plantar dermatosis (also known as "Atopic winter feet,"[1] "Dermatitis plantaris sicca,"[1] "Forefoot dermatitis,"[1] "Moon-boot foot syndrome,"[1] and "Sweaty sock dermatitis"[1]) is a condition usually seen in children between the ages of 3 and 14, and involves the cracking and peeling of weight bearing areas of the soles of the feet.[1]
