KDRW (88.7 FM) is a radio station licensed to serve Santa Barbara, California. The station is owned by Santa Monica College, and serves as a repeater of KCRW and its public radio format. In February 2014, public radio station KCRW of Santa Monica announced that it would buy Santa Barbara classical station KDB (FM) for $1 million. KCRW will begin to use KQSC's 88.7 frequency as a repeater for KCRW's programming, while transferring KUSC's classical programming from KQSC to KDB.[1] The sale closed on August 27, 2014 and KQSC switched to a simulcast of KCRW. The station's call letters changed to KDRW-FM on August 27, 2014, and to KDRW on October 1, 2014.
