History

KSUD signed on 1962 and played rock and roll. By 1963, the music was a mix of folk, country, and gospel.[1] Previous formats include Contemporary Christian.[2]

In May 2005 KSUD became an ESPN Radio affiliate[3] and changed its letters to KQPN later that year.[4] On August 4, 2008, ESPN moved to WSMB from KQPN, and KQPN took over the Fox Sports programming from WSMB the next day.[5]

KQPN became affiliated with Yahoo! Sports Radio on December 5, 2011 after Entercom's WMC-AM acquired Fox Sports Radio away from KQPN beginning on October 17, 2011.
