Kibuli Hospital, sometimes referred to as Kibuli Muslim Hospital (KMH), is a hospital in on Kibuli Hill, in Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city.

Location
The hospital is located on Kibuli Hill, in Makindye Division, in the southeastern part of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city. Kibuli Hospital is located approximately 3.5 miles (5.6 km) southeast of Kampala's central business district, adjacent to Kibuli Mosque and Kibuli Secondary School. The coordinates of Kibuli Hospital are:0°18'34.0"N, 32°35'43.0"E (Latitude:0.309445; Longitude:32.595275).[2]
Overview
Kibuli Hospital was founded in 1975 as an outpatient facility, on land that had been donated in the 1930s by Prince Badru Kakungulu. The hospital added an inpatient unit with fifty nine beds in 1995. In 2005, the hospital opened a brand new Emergency Medicine Department, along with a new Outpatient Wing. Currently Kibuli Hospital is assigned a health sub-district within Makindye Division East, where it carries out Primary Health Care (PHC) activities with the collaboration of Makindye Division, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), and the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP).[3]
Medical School affiliation
On 25 October 2014, the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), opened a medical school, named Habib Medical School (HMS), based at its Kibuli campus, with Kibuli Hospital as the teaching hospital for the medical school. The school opened with 100 students enrolled in the five-year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) course.[4]
