Kompally is one of the fastest growing suburbs of Hyderabad, India which is located in the Qutubullapur Mandal of Ranga Reddy District
The main approach to Kompally is the 250 feet, 6 Lane, NH 7 towards Nagpur and Kompally is just 10 km from Paradise, Secunderabad. There is lot of green everywhere in Kompally making it the best place for a home.
It has landmarks like Prajay Apartments, Runway - 9, Satyam Computers, Telangana state Forest Academy at Dhulapally, Apparel Export Park, EMRI and Dhola-ri-Dhani. It comes under HMDA (Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Area). The land value here is quite high. The multiplex, Cine Planet is situated here.
The outer Ring Road is connected at Kandlakoya, 3 km from Kompally. The famous Basar - Saraswathi temple is a 4½ hour drive from here.

History
According to locals, Kompally was named after Kohanuddin, who was the Jagirdhar of the village during the Nizam’s rule. During the course of time, Kohanuddin became popularly known as KhomPally.Before the residential boom and formation of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), it was a small village on the outskirts of Hyderabad with grape gardens, farm houses, horticulture and was flooded with poultry farms[1]

The place has its advantages like breathing space, shopping and entertainment arcades which provides the much needed relief for the locals in and around Kompally for bypassing the traffic congestion of the HITECH City. It is close to Hitech city through an alternative route and would come around 18 km. Hence, many people working in IT industry are opting to stay here.
Several Supermarkets supply to the various needs to the people living around the area. The Vensai tower is a favorite hangout spot which is closer by the Cine Planet as it offers Gaming Zones, Parlor's, a Gym and other things that attract the Youth more. The Runway 9 is a Karting Track located right beside Vensai offers amazing racing experience and its Pub is adjacent to it. It offers other recreational activities such as shooting, skating, mini Golf and few other things for Children.
Suchitra Center which is a neighbouring suburb is a good commercial spot with various products available. Several Schools are present around this place. The closest MMTS Train station is at Bollarum.
Kompally is located on NH-7 which connects Nagpur and Secunderabad. The Highway is well equipped with Street Lighting facility along with greenery looked after by HMDA. There are 4 tracks (6 Lanes) for the Highway to facilitate Cars, Cycles and Bikes on a separate road.
