Kuldeep Yadav (born December 14, 1994) is a cricketer who plays for Uttar Pradesh. Kuldeep Yadav was born in a small village called Shiv Singh Khera in Unnao district.
He is a slow left-arm chinaman bowler. He has played for India Under-19 cricket team in the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup where he took a hat-trick against Scotland and also impressed Pakistani legend Wasim Akram who later took him to play for Kolkata Knight Riders.
He was a member of the Mumbai Indians squad in 2012 and signed up by the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014. After good performance in 2014 Champions League Twenty20, Kuldeep gained much appreciation after good bowling in the tournament.
Yadav’s father Ram Singh Yadav is an owner of a brick kiln and they live in a rented apartment having shifted from their native village in Unnao to Kanpur, where there are better cricket coaching facilities, so that his talented son could pursue his dreams.
He was selected in Indian cricket team to play against West Indies in October 2014 but was not able to get a chance as West Indies withdraw the tour at half due to dispute between players and the board.
