Kumarpal Desai

Kumarpal Desai is an author and columnist from Indian state of Gujarat.[1] He has written over 100 books. He is Director of Gujarat University's School of Languages and Dean of Faculty of Arts.

He was awarded Padma Shri by Government of India in 2004.[2] He has also been conferred with many other awards including Gujarat Ratna award. Desai regularly delivers lectures on Jainism in other countries.
