Kylie Ann Pentelow (born 29 June 1979) is an English journalist and television news presenter, currently working for ITV.

Education and career

Educated at the Sir Christopher Hatton School in Wellingborough, after graduating from the University of Sheffield with an MA in journalism,[1] her first post was as a reporter for the Bath Chronicle.[2] She then joined BBC Points West as a video journalist,[3] and after joining the BBC graduate training scheme undertook postings in BBC local radio in Oxford and Birmingham, before moving back to television with the BBC News Channel.[1] She then became a reporter/presenter for BBC East Midlands Today.[3]

Pentelow then moved to ITV becoming the North America news correspondent for the ITV Breakfast programme Daybreak, where she was primarily based in New York.[1] In July 2013, she became a main presenter for ITV News West Country, where she currently co-anchors the 18:00 regional news alongside Ian Axton.[4] On 3 May 2014 she made her debut presenting the Saturday evening bulletins for both ITV News London and the national ITV News programmes.

Personal life

She lives in the West Country, and has a rescued former racing Greyhound and a Chihuahua puppy. She owns a classic 1970 Carlight caravan, on which she created a self-produced YouTube-chronicled restoration series.[5]
