L. E. Leone
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
L. E. Leone is a journalist, author, and the former[1] writer of the weekly Cheap Eats column for the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Her food writing is notable for often talking much more about subjects such as baseball, chicken farming, and her personal life than about the restaurant being reviewed. She transitioned from male to female during her tenure as a Guardian writer, initially writing as Dan Leone.[2] Leone also performs on the steel drum as "Sister Exister". She was a founding member of the now-defunct band Ed's Redeeming Qualities.
