La Marque High School

La Marque High School is a public high school in La Marque, Texas, United States in the Houston Metropolitan Area. The school, which serves grades 9 through 12, is currently a part of the La Marque Independent School District, however, as of July 1st, 2016,[needs update] the school district will be annexed into the Texas City Independent School District.[1] The school itself will remain open, and its athletic teams will continue to tbe separate from those of Texas City High School.[2]
The school serves sections of La Marque, Tiki Island, and portions of Texas City. It has a total enrollment of 1400.
In February 2012, La Marque was reclassified as a University Interscholastic League 3A school, down from the 4A level.[3]
Dress code
High school students may wear solid-colored or striped golf shirts that do not have the colors red and black. Trousers may be navy, khaki, or denim.[4]
