Biography and career

At Lamsongkram's 2009 fight at the "Chinese Kung Fu vs Muaythai" at Lingnan Pearl Stadium, Foshan, China, Lamsongkram scored multiple points and takedowns. He did commit 3 fouls, all in the first round, these being- pushing Kaiyin after the referee tried to separate both fighters who were in a clinch at around the second minute of the first round, then a few seconds later, he narrowly avoided a kick to the head by Kaiyin, after which Kaiyin charged at him, only to hit the ropes and Lamsongkram immediately struck Kaiyin with elbows, hammer fists & knees all from the back (which is illegal in all styles of ring fights) and then pushed him again. The last foul was at 10 seconds into the end of the first round, when after a successful takedown of Zhan, he intentionally placed his right knee onto Zhan's chest and for about a second, put his whole weight on it as he got back up, drawing lots of booing from the audiences. As the fight progressed, Lamsongkram fell for a roundhouse kick to spinning back fist combo at 1:08 of the 3rd round which knocked him out, and as he fell face down on the mat, Zhan then gave a kick to the head of Lamsongkram, which the referee didn't count as a foul as he proceeded to do the standard 10 second countdown on Lamsongkram. And as the countdown began, the Muay Thai team's coach and manager entered the ring, protesting furiously at the illegal kick to the extent that the manager laid down on the ring floor till the closing ceremony of the match, thereby disrupting the live telecast as authorities deemed it too inappropriate and thereby stopped the live telecast.

The Japanese boxing commission banned the boxing promoters to offer Lamsongkram for boxing matches in Japan 2005 because of 5 consecutive losses by knock out.[2]
