List of Aqua Teen Hunger Force guest stars
Aqua Teen Hunger Force (also known by various alternative titles) is an American animated television series on Cartoon Network's late night programming block, Adult Swim. The series made its official debut on September 9, 2001 on Adult swim; after the pilot episode was aired as a special sneak peek on Cartoon Network on December 30, 2000. The show is about the surreal adventures of three anthropomorphic fast food items, Master Shake, Frylock and Meatwad, and their human nextdoor neighbor, Carl Brutananadilewski. In addition to the main cast there are several guest appearances in several episodes.
Voice actor George Lowe has made several appearances throughout the series' run as a guest star before entering into the main cast. Lowe went on to serve as the announcer during the eighth season. The season two finale "The Last One" featured several guest appearances from previous guest stars reprising their roles from the first two seasons. To date "The Last One" features more guest appearances than any other episode in the series. History
Several episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force feature guest appearances from others outside of the main cast, a similar practice was used in Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Most guest appearances are comedians however others including professional athletes such as Bart Oates and John Kruk or musicians such as Chuck D, T-Pain, Chickenfoot and Insane Clown Posse.
Voice over artist George Lowe, has made several appearances throughout the series run. Lowe made his first appearance in Aqua Teen Hunger Force in the season one episode "Mail-Order bride" and would go on to make several other cameos since. Lowe had a prominent appearance as himself in the season four episode "Antenna", and reprised his role as Space Ghost for a quick appearance in Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters. Lowe was later considered a member of the main cast in 2011 during Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1, where he announced the title for each episode and continued to make cameos.
David Cross, H. Jon Benjamin, and Kristen Schaal all appeared in the season five episode "Bible Fruit". The episode eventually lead to a spin-off series entitled Soul Quest Overdrive which featured all of the guest stars from "Bible Fruit". Six episodes of Soul Quest Overdrive were produced and four of them were aired as part of Adult Swim's "DVR Theater" on May 25, 2011. The series has been cancelled and has never been aired since, leaving two episodes left unaired.
Several guest appearances from the first two seasons reprised their roles in the season two finale "The Last One". "The Last One" features more guest appearances from any episode of the series so far. As a running gag, most of the celebrity guest voices are credited under fake names in the closing credits.
