This is a chronological list of India ODI wicket-keepers. Since 1974/75, 24 cricketers have kept wicket for India in ODIs. The first was Farokh Engineer, who kept in India's first ever ODI, against England in July 1974. The team's current captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has been India's wicketkeeper since 2004. He holds the records for the most matches and the most dismissals in ODIs by an Indian wicket-keeper .
