The June 2008 tornado outbreak sequence affected much of the central United States and parts of Canada starting on June 3, 2008 and lasting until June 11; 192 tornadoes were confirmed.

The first outbreak affected much of the Midwest and Ohio Valley area on June 3 producing over 20 tornado reports including an EF3 in Moscow, Indiana. Several people were injured, including one critically who died two months later.

The second outbreak took place across the Central Plains where two days of severe weather resulted in at least 90 tornado reports from the Dakotas to Kansas on June 4–5.

The third outbreak took place across Wisconsin and Illinois, where at least 20 tornadoes were confirmed including eight across the southern suburbs of Chicago on June 8, as well as a dozen others in southern Wisconsin.

The fourth outbreak took place across the Central Plains where at least four people were killed near Little Sioux, Iowa. At least 58 tornadoes were reported on June 11 mostly over Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas and Minnesota. The strongest tornado was an EF4 in Manhattan, Kansas. Two people were in killed in Kansas in the towns of Chapman and Soldier. At least 17 tornadoes were reported on June 11 mostly over Wisconsin and Kansas.

EF0	WNW Banta	Morgan	1830	0.39 miles (0.63 km)	Roof damage and several downed trees were caused by the tornado.
EF3	WNW Waldron	Shelby, Rush	0104	9.68 miles (15.58 km)	1 death – 34 structures in Shelby County were damaged, with 27 of them in the small community of Middletown, just northeast of Waldron. Eight people were injured in Rush County, including a 67-year-old woman who was impaled in the chest by a tree limb and later died as a result of her injury on August 17. A covered bridge was destroyed and a school was damaged in Moscow. The tornado severely damage or destroyed dozens of homes, and swept ones that were not anchored completely away.

Several barns suffered severe damage with metal parts from the walls found scattered all over nearby fields. Highway 77 was closed for more than a day as debris from the tornado littered the roads. Due to the large amount of power poles taken down, power was out for much of Ceresco for several days. The total cost of the damage is unknown but likely extreme.

Scattered EF0 damage was found through the town of Gretna where roof damage was found. Before crossing into Douglas County, the tornado intensified into an EF2 and caused major roof damage to a home. After crossing into Douglas County, the second tornado in the Omaha area merged into the first around 132nd street and Westwood Lane. The tornado tore roofs off of a few homes and damaged several others. The tornado then moved into Omaha and knocked out power to 13,800 customers. It dissipated after moving through the city. Despite all the damage, only three people were injured.

Nebraska
EF3	N of Little Sioux (IA)	Burt, Harrison (IA), Monona (IA)		2325	14 miles (22.5 km)	4 deaths - Center pivot irrigation systems were flipped and trees sustained damage in the area. Fallen tree limbs damaged homes and blocked roads and some roof damage and broken windows were noted. The storm tracked northeast and crossed the Missouri River and Interstate 29 near mile marker 97, continuing into Harrison county Iowa. In Harrison county, the tornado flipped a tractor trailer. In Monona county the tornado entered the Little Sioux Scout Ranch, destroying the rangers home near the entrance of the park giving it a rating of EF3. It also destroyed their pickup truck sending it flying 100 yards (91 m). The storm then blew down trees and destroyed bunk houses at the camp. Four scouts were killed in one bunk house when a brick chimney collapsed on them. In total 48 people were injured at the camp. The tornado continued to topple trees as it tracked into Preparation Canyon State Park. Just before it entered the park a farmstead sustained damage. The tornado hit another farmstead about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) southwest of Moorhead where trees were blown down and sheds damaged. The tornado then began to weaken and finally lifted about 2 miles (3.2 km) southwest of Moorhead.

EF3	Chapman area	Dickinson,		0312	15 miles (24.1 km)	1 death - The tornado first touched down at a farmstead to the north-northwest of the town of Enterprise. A grain bin was destroyed, and some tree damage was observed. Damage was also noted to another farmstead where a grain bin was destroyed, as were a center pivot and several power poles. The tornado then entered Chapman on the southwest side. It was reported that 70 homes were completely destroyed, and 215 damaged. In all, three-quarters of the buildings in town sustained damage. Two churches were demolished. The town's middle school and high school were both severely damaged. Once outside the town, another farmstead was hit which damaged trees and outbuildings before lifting to the northeast of town. Debris from the town was littered for several miles east of the town. Dozens of individuals sustained minor injuries. Three were critically injured. One death was reported when a tree was blown onto a woman who had just put her daughter into the carseat of her vehicle. Damages from the tornado totaled to $20.2 million.

EF4	Manhattan area	Riley		0348	8.64 miles (13.9 km)	Tornado touched down to the southwest of Manahattan on a farm, and first destroyed a large machine shed, and threw a grain cart into an adjacent field. The tornado tracked to the northeast and destroyed several homes that were in the process of being built. 15 well-built homes were completely destroyed. Nearby in the Amherst residential area, approximately 30 homes were damaged. A local newspaper reported that 45 residences in Manhattan were destroyed, 142 were damaged, and 637 were affected by the tornado. 93 apartments or duplexes, 20 mobile homes, and 10 total businesses were impacted. Thereafter, the windows at the Little Apple Honda/Toyota car dealership were blown out, and several cars on the lots were tossed. A nearby hardware store and several self-storage units were demolished. Other nearby businesses were also damaged. The Lee Elementary School was then damaged. The tornado continued toward the Kansas State University campus. There, the roof was blown off a fraternity house, windows were blown out of buildings, the USDA Wind Erosion Laboratory roof was damaged, and debris from damage to the southwest was blown across the campus. Damages from the tornado are estimated to be over $45 million, with $20 million occurring on the campus of the Kansas State University. Amazingly, no one was injured by the devastating tornado.
