The Memphis Redbirds minor league baseball team has played 18 seasons since being established as an expansion team of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League (PCL) in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1998. As of the completion of the 2015 season, the club has played in 2,557 regular season games and compiled a win–loss record of 1,275–1,302 (.499).[1] They have a post-season record of 16–10 (.615). Memphis has made four post-season appearances and won four division titles, three conference titles, and two league championships. The team won the Pacific Coast League Championship in 2000 and 2009 as the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.[2] The team's best season record occurred in 2000, when they finished 83–61 (.576). Their lowest record was 57–87 (.369) in 2012.
