List of Texas Rangers seasons

This is a list of all seasons by the Texas Rangers professional baseball franchise. They were originally known as the Washington Senators and formed after an older team of the same name moved to Minneapolis as the Minnesota Twins.

The team was initially extremely unsuccessful, not winning more games than it lost until 1969 and moving to Texas in 1972; however, success did not easily come its way even in its new abode, with only one season of over ninety wins and not a single postseason appearance until after the 1994 strike. After three postseason appearances in four years (1996-1999), the Rangers again declined to mediocrity until 2010, which began the best period of success in franchise history. Between 2010 and 2015, Texas reached the postseason 5 times and won 3 division titles and appeared unexpectedly in their first two World Series in 2010 and 2011.
