The 26th and final series of The Bill, a British television drama, was the last series of the programme. Nearly two years after the final episode, Supt. Jack Meadows was featured in an episode of SOKO Leipzig, which involved him investigating a suspected murderer who has been living in London. In the episode it is revealed that at some point during the year and a half following the events of Respect, Meadows has retired.

On 30 April 2014, The Bill Series 26 Part 1 & 2 DVD set was released in Australia.

SOKO chief Hajo Trautzschke pays a visit to his old friend and colleague, retired British Superintendent Jack Meadows. After the two solved a case of national boundaries, they began to share a friendship. Now their friendship is reunited when they become determined to each crack their own cases, with the help of the other. While Jack is in London after Karen Bishop, a suspected murderer, Jan Maybach and Ina Zimmermann are tasked with investigating a suspicious death when a man is thrown out the window of his apartment in Leipzig.
