The former and final WWE Women's Champion: Layla

The WWE Women's Championship was a professional wrestling championship in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) promotion.[1]

The championship was generally contested in professional wrestling matches, in which participants execute scripted finishes rather than contend in direct competition. There have been a total of 29 recognized champions who have had a combined 59 official reigns. The following is a chronological list of wrestlers that have been WWE Women's Champion by ring name.

The title became vacant only twice in history for a total of 65 days and deactivated twice for a combined 1398 days.

The inaugural champion was The Fabulous Moolah, who won the title on September 18, 1956. She has the longest reign with 3,651 days, as well as the most reigns with 8. Moolah is also the oldest competitor to win the title at age 76. Under the WWE banner, The Fabulous Moolah has the longest reign with 10,170 days and Trish Stratus has the most reigns with 7.

Mickie James has the shortest reign with 1 hour. Stephanie McMahon is the youngest champion at age 23 and 5 months. Bertha Faye is the heaviest champion and The Kat is the lightest champion. The final champion is Layla.
