List of aircraft of the Argentine Air Force

This is a list of all fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft operated by the Argentine Air Force since its formation in 1945, and by its predecessor (the Army Aviation Service) since 1912.

Prototypes and aircraft evaluated but not used operationally are excluded. Aircraft are listed under the main role in which they were used for most of their operational life.

  11. Rumbos Aeronáuticos, Issue 27, identifies this model as a "Breguet Type III". No mention of a "Type III G.3" variant could be found online so far; however the wikiarticle about the "Type IV" does mention a G.3 variant.
  12. According to "World Air Forces - Historical Listings", 27 were in service. "Rumbos Aeronáuticos (Issue 27)", mentions 50+ in service overall in Argentina, of which only 6 were with the Military.
  13. Rumbos Aeronáuticos, Issue 27, mentions that these differed from the Farman III in having a single, larger vertical tail surface.
  14. Single engine monoplane, inspired in the Bleriot IX, built by the Chilean Edmundo Marichal.
