This page contains a list of area codes in Brazil for telephone dialing. The areas are distributed geographically, citing the main cities in each area.

Phone numbers in Brazil observe an eight-digit pattern nnnn-nnnn (except for nine-digit mobile phone numbers in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo states, to be extended to all mobile numbers until 2016). Area codes have two digits, and are often notated in parentheses: (aa) nnnn-nnnn.
