List of LGBT fictions and myths

An essential part of the LGBT Agenda is to promulgate fallacies and myths.

This is a list of some of the commonest:-

“Homosexuals are 5-10% of the population”

Not true. These overestimates come from research conducted by Alfred Kinsey who used criminals in U.S. prisons for his sample. In the UK homosexuals are 1.5% according to the UK Office of National Statistics and a similar percentage in other countries.

The Gay Gene or "Born Gay" myth

LGBT militants claim that some people are “born gay”. Wrong. This can and has been scientifically refuted. More than fourteen different studies into the orientation of identical twins have shown that there is no genetic determination. Nor can uterine environment be a factor, as in twins it is the same, yet in 97% of cases the orientation is different. Look at Jason and Jarron Collins, for example.

Another prominent example is the British twins Angela and Maria Eagle, both Labour MPs. One is lesbian, the other isn't.

The idea that homosexuality could be caused by a gene is absurd by scientific standards. Evolution by natural selection decrees that all living creatures and species survive only by means of breeding. A gene that hampers you from breeding is an evolutionary non-starter. The excuses that have been made for the theory are laughable. From a creationist point of view, male and female only exist because they are designed for each other. A gene that made them oppose their own destiny would be a flaw in design.

Many homosexuals actually admit they "chose to be gay" - to the annoyance of the dogmatists.

Dr. Francis S. Collins, head of the Human Genome Project, along with his team of over 150 of the top geneticists in the world, who sequenced and decoded the human genome, have said, that they found no gay gene. And for the record, there is no such thing as sexual orientation, there is only sexual preference. All behavior is a choice, unless a mental disorder is involved.

The official conclusion of the American Psychological Association is that sexual orientation and gender identity are not fixed genetically and may alter throughout life. This is based on a survey of the widest possible range of research world-wide.

The latest research published in 2016 bring multiple independent confirmation that there is no genetic factor in homosexuality. It is either the result of environment, or a choice.

“Being gay is just like being black”

Wrong. The two things have nothing in common. Homosexuality is a behavior, being black is not. They are different sorts of category, so the same arguments just don't apply. Homosexuals have never been oppressed or enslaved. There has never been any special tax on them. They have never (unlike women and poor people) been excluded from education, the professions or voting. They have never been barred from beaches, bars, restaurants, schools or buses just for being homosexual. They have never been forced to live in ghettos. They are usually to be found in the most privileged classes of society. Historically, the penalties for sodomy always applied to heterosexuals as well, so they were not "anti-gay laws". The fact is that the LGBT movement has found it convenient to appropriate the arguments - and even the rainbow flag - of the American Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s. Posing as victims is an essential part of their strategy.

“Homosexuals are oppressed, bullied and victimized”

Wrong. There is no country in the world where statistics show that homosexuals are any more likely to be murdered than anybody else. Most of the "gay-bullying" reports or claims of homosexuals murdered by “homophobes” are misrepresentations, such as the cases of David Kato and Matthew Shepard.

Homosexuals fake “hate-crimes” endlessly all over the world and most shamefully, they try to get heterosexuals convicted of these fake crimes. There are hundreds of examples, and indexes are available of the accumulated evidence.

Most of the real bullying is done by homosexuals to other people or to each other. They have appalling statistics of mutual rape, assault and murder. See examples Joe Orton, Raymond Boyer, Michael Alig.

“The gay lifestyle is safe. AIDS is not a gay problem”

False. These denials are disingenuous. In the 1980s and 1990s, the AIDS pandemic swept through the male homosexual population of the Western world killing millions. They responded with obstinate denial and retreated into a fantasy world. They claim that since drugs have been developed to suppress the disease, it is no longer a problem. But these drugs are extremely expensive, do not actually cure the disease, and often work only for a limited time. They have severe side-effects which can in themselves be fatal. Most of the world cannot afford these exorbitant drugs, so they are simply not a realistic answer to the problem.

LGBT activists resort to quoting statistics that purport to show that the majority of people who have got HIV/AIDS are heterosexual. But male homosexuals who are only a tiny percentage of the population, about 1%, they are far more than 1% of those suffering from HIV/AIDS. Furthermore, many deaths from HIV/AIDS are not reported as such in order to avoid distress to the dead person's family.

The USA CDC points out that although homosexuals are only 2% of the population, they get 65% of new HIV infections. The UK Public Health Officer, Professor Kevin Fenton, one of the world experts on AIDS, has made it clear in an official statement that the health risks of the homosexual lifestyle are very high and very serious. Homosexuals practices invite disease. The risks cannot easily be dealt with by handing out condoms or medication. Male homosexuals in developed countries are 23 times more likely to get AIDS than heterosexuals, and there is no cure. The pandemic is still steadily spreading worldwide. He says that anal intercourse is 18 times more likely to pass on infection than normal sex, and calls the situation "catastrophic". HIV sufferers have to take three different sorts of anti-retroviral drugs per day, and keep having tests for months to see if they reduce the virus. Even if they do, it is often only for a limited time and there are severe side-effects, including diabetes and damage to the pancreas. Lesbians injure each other with fisting and such dangerous practices. They have high rates of cancer. Homosexuals have a significantly shorter life expectancy than heterosexuals.

Even LGBT propaganda outlets such as Pink News occasionally hint at the seriousness of the danger.

Male homosexuals today often take anti-retro-viral drugs before they get infected, because they realize that their health risk is far more severe than that of heterosexuals. In the UK they are campaigning avidly to get the drugs paid for by the National Health Service. Groups such as "I Want Prep Now" prove that they know they are at very high risk. They are paying high prices for the drugs, and risking side-effects. If being homosexual is so safe, they would not need to do this.

Homosexual authors admit that the homosexual lifestyle is a deeply disturbed and malfunctioning one, with high rates of drug abuse, promiscuity, depression and suicide. This has not changed since laws and social attitudes have altered in their favor: it has remained the same or got worse, indicating intrinsic problems. Relationships are generally very short-term and rarely exclusive. They have fewer friends than heterosexuals. Approximately 75% of the homosexual population has problems with drug-abuse and depression. The highest levels of depression and suicide are found in Sweden and the Netherlands where the law is most in their favor and health treatment is advanced. So the more they get what they demand, the more miserable and self-harming they become.

“There is no connection between homosexuality and pedophilia”

Larry Brinkin, prominent US homosexual rights activist and a former director of the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, convicted of pedophile offenses in 2014.

Most of the leaders, founders and heroes of the LGBT movement have always been pedophiles or NAMBLA supporters. Brinkin, Kramer, Lombard, and co are following in the footsteps of Harry Hay, David Thorstad, Keith Hose, Tom O'Carroll, Peter Ashman, Gore Vidal and Oscar Wilde.

A very high proportion of all CSA victims world-wide are boys molested by homosexuals. The entire LGBT movement has always been a pedophile movement and out of the 30 pro-pedophile groups campaigning in Europe, 28 are founded and run by homosexuals. Massive homosexual child-porn rings and boy-prostitution rackets are constantly being found by police all over the world. A high proportion of the famous homosexuals held up as “gay icons” were pedophiles or ephebophiles. Those who preferred adult partners were a minority.

“The Nazis exterminated 100,000 homosexuals for their sexuality”

False. This claim has been thoroughly investigated and refuted by professional academic historians - see Hidden Holocaust? Gay and Lesbian Persecution in Germany 1933-1945 by Gunter Grau and Claudia Schoppman. . The claim originates with LGBT activists such as Peter Tatchell who are unqualified in history. All the top historical experts have always said the claim is false. The activists offer examples of victims who were both Jewish and homosexual, claiming this proves persecution of homosexuals. It does not.

Gad Beck - held up as a "gay" martyr, he was actually Jewish and survived his brief internment.

The German police and courts under the Nazis continued to enforce old laws from the nineteenth century against male homosexuality. These laws were no different from those prevailing in most Western countries at this time. For a small minority this involved a short sentence in a labor camp. Many were given the option to enlist in the army and none were sentenced to death. They came out alive at the end of the war. There were never any laws against lesbian behavior.

There were far more homosexuals in the SS and the Nazi top brass than in the camps. Ernst Rohm was homosexual. In fact there is a strong likelihood that Hitler himself was homosexual.

“The Christian Churches used to perform same-sex unions in the middle ages”

This is a complete fallacy. It derives from a book by John Boswell The Marriage of Likeness: Same-Sex Unions in Pre-Modern Europe, which is unreliable. Its claims relate only to the Greek Orthodox church and have been refuted by experts in the history of the Greek Orthodox Church. Basically, Boswell tried to argue that brotherhood bonds between celibate men were homosexual. In fact, they were not. Most “gay” history is fantasy.

"The American natives regarded homosexuality as normal or even special"

False. In fact, out of hundreds of North American native tribes, only one or two small ones were tolerant of homosexuality or esteemed it in their culture. The vast majority regarded it as abnormal, unlucky or shameful, and they still do. In fact they have defied the USA court decisions to legalize same-sex "marriage" and publicly announced that they will not recognize it. Since they are legally separate nations, not part of the USA, the US courts have no power to dictate to them.

“Homosexuality was regarded as perfectly normal in ancient Greece and Rome, and homosexual unions were even more highly esteemed than heterosexual ones”

False. In fact there were more than fifty different Greek city-states with various laws, and in most of them, including Athens, sodomy between free-born males was illegal. In many parts of Greece homosexuality was outlawed, ridiculed or regarded with pity. Sparta was one of the few places where homosexuality between older men and boys was normal, and even there it was never equated with marriage. Men of the same age did not have relationships with each other. Sparta was not a place of great cultural achievement but was obsessively militaristic and non-intellectual. The Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite, is heterosexual.

There were many similar goddesses of love throughout the ancient world, all female and with similar attributes to Aphrodite. In Greek mythology, the Trojan war was fought for a runaway wife, not over a homosexual squabble.

Marriages were always celebrated publicly with great solemnity in ancient Greece and Rome. They included processions, flowers, special clothes for the bride and groom, music, poetry, and religious rituals of blessing.

Here is a high-relief sculpture from a temple in ancient Sicily depicting the marriage of Zeus, king of the gods, to Hera, queen of the gods.

Contrary to popular myth, Socrates, Aristotle and Plato all condemned homosexuality, and praised those who restrained their homosexual urges within the bounds of friendship. All agreed that the fundamental purpose of sexuality was procreation.

“Being a “homophobe” is a sure sign of being a repressed homosexual"

That is absurd rubbish. That is about as logical as claiming that if you don’t like and applaud drug-abuse (which is very widespread among homosexuals) you must be a secret drug-addict. Actually there is no such thing as “homophobia”. It is fraudulent pseudo-scientific term. Morality is not a "phobia": it is the basis of society and civilization. Research is not a phobia. Health awareness is not a phobia. The term "homophobia" should be avoided in schools and universities as it encourages a fallacy and silences intellectual debate.

Heteronormativity is rational, logical and scientific. Even prominent lesbian activist Camille Paglia agrees about this.

"Trying to Change Your Sexual Orientation is Dangerous"

This is the concomitant of myth number 2, that homosexuality is innate. In fact, there is no known example of anybody dying as a result of therapy to try to alter their sexual orientation, and to argue that it is dangerous is illogical unless the dangers of the therapy could be shown to be greater than the many dangers of remaining homosexual, in the most disturbed, violent, disease-and drug-ridden percentage of society.

Sensational films have been made portraying "conversion therapy" as sinister and even a form of torture, but these films are fiction, although many people do not realise it.

There are certainly individuals who testify that they have changed themselves and discontinued homosexual practices, but they do not get publicity from mainstream media or funding from hugely rich sponsors such as Terry Bean.

One typical petition to ban such therapy for consenting adults claims "“The American Psychiatric Association says that sexual orientation change efforts (SOCE) can lead to “anxiety, depression, and self-destructive behaviour”, including suicide." This is laughable as the statistics show that homosexuality itself leads to "anxiety, depression, and self-destructive behaviour, including suicide." See above.
