Listvyanka (Russian: Листвя́нка) is an urban locality (a work settlement) in Irkutsky District of Irkutsk Oblast, Russia, located 70 kilometers (43 mi) from Irkutsk, near the point where the Angara River leaves Lake Baikal. Population: 1,882 (2010 Census);[1] 1,745 (2002 Census);[2] 2,379 (1989 Census).[3]

Listvyanka is accessible by bus or ferry from Irkutsk.

Climate

Summer temperatures in Listvyanka range within highs of 77°F (25°C) and lows of 54°F (12°C). Winters are very cold. Normally temperature drops down below 12°F (-11°C).[4]
