The Ljubljana–Matica Mountaineering Club or Ljubljana–Matica Climbing Club (Slovene: Planinsko društvo Ljubljana-Matica, shortly PD Ljubljana-Matica or just Matica), with its office located in Ljubljana, is by the number of members the largest mountaineering club in Slovenia. It is a member of the Mountaineering Association of Slovenia. The year of establishment of the club is disputed. According to the club, it was established in 1893, whereas the majority of experts consider the club was established later, in 1945.[1] In 2013, the club had about 2,800 members.[2] The current president of the club is Tomaž Willenpart.

Sections of the club are involved in climbing, mountain guiding and mountain rescue, operating paths, educating youth, publishing and protecting the mountain environment. The club operates the following mountain shelters: the Triglav Mountain Hut on Kredarica, the Triglav Lakes Mountain Hut, the Savica Mountain Hut, the Kamniška Bistrica Mountain Hut, the Komna Mountain Hut, and the Mali Podi Shelter under Skuta.
