Occupation Actress

Lori Cardille (born 1954) is an American actress, best known for her lead role in George A. Romero's Day of the Dead (1985). Her father, Bill "Chilly Billy" Cardille, appeared as a reporter in the original Night of the Living Dead (1968).

She is well known for her role as Winter Austin #1 on the ABC soap opera The Edge of Night. She left that role because it reminded her of a past memory in which she was a victim of sexual abuse.[1] She later joined the cast of the soap opera Ryan's Hope. She is the author of the book I'm Gonna Tell: ...an Offbeat Tale of Survival (ISBN 978-0595142033). Cardille has recently starred in a short horror film called The Three, which reunited her with her Day of the Dead co-star John Amplas. In the film, Amplas and Cardille play a pair of scientists, as they did in Day.

Her daughter is actress Kate Rogal.
