Ludovic Lebart is a senior researcher at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and a professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris. His research interests are the exploratory analysis of qualitative and textual data. He has coauthored several books on descriptive multivariate statistics,[1] survey methodology, and exploratory analysis of textual data.[2][3] He made a large contribution to the development of correspondence analysis.[4]

Biography

He graduated from Mines ParisTech (1964) and obtained a PHD in Mathematics (1976). He was recruited in 1972 at CNRS and worked at CREDOC. From 1979 to 1988, he was deputy director of CREDOC. Since 1990, he is the director of the scientific committee of CESP.[5]
