Magnesium glycinate
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
Magnesium glycinate, also known as magnesium diglycinate or magnesium bisglycinate, is the magnesium salt of glycine, and a mineral supplement.[1][2]
Its molecular weight is 172.42232 g/mol.[3] As such, it contains 14.1% elemental magnesium by mass. Accordingly, 100 mg of magnesium is contained in 709 mg of magnesium glycinate.
Uses
Magnesium glycinate has been studied with applicability to patients with a bowel resection[1] or pregnancy-induced leg cramps.[2]
