Mamers, North Carolina

Mamers is an unincorporated community located along old U.S. Highway 421 in the Upper Little River Township of Harnett County, North Carolina west of the town of Lillington between the communities of Ryes and Luart (Powell 1968, p. 310). It is a part of the Dunn Micropolitan Area, which is also a part of the greater Raleigh–Durham–Cary Combined Statistical Area (CSA) as defined by the United States Census Bureau.

Prominent nearby landmarks include the community United States Post Office (ZIP Code 27552). Mamers is in the Boone Trail Elementary School district as well as in the Western Harnett middle and high school districts. Mamers has a population of around 1000 and is one square mile.
