Marano Ticino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Novara in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) northeast of Turin and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Novara. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,524 and an area of 7.8 square kilometres (3.0 sq mi).[1]
