Marcel Colomb First Nation - (MCFN) Band #328 is a First Nations tribe aka Band, of approximately 417 Registered Rocky Cree people (Maškēkowak / nēhinawak) located in the area of Lynn Lake, Manitoba. Located within the reserve is a Water Treatment plant, 14 houses, Band Office and other infrastructure projects under development. The Black Sturgeon Falls Reserve locally referred to as Mile 21 or "the Promised Land", is located within the area of Hughes Lake - approximately 30 kilometres southeast of Lynn Lake.

SWAMPY CREE TRIBAL COUNCIL INC is the Tribal Council affiliated with this First Nation.

The Rock Cree people of the Black Sturgeon Falls Reserve are ancestral descendants of indigenous peoples, who have migrated from Pukatawagan and other areas within the Nickel Belt. They have populated the Canadian Shield region of northern and central Canada since the retreat of the Glaciers about 10,000 years ago.

The MCFN members have individual and group social media pages on Facebook, to share social updates between Band members living both off and on-reserve.

A MCFN Facebook group frequented by Rocky Cree members is titled "Marcel Colomb First Nation members". All Rock Cree members within the Nickel Belt are encouraged to join this group. Other social media portals used by MCFN Band members include but are not limited to: Twitter, Flickr, Yahoo, Google+ groups and Pinterest.

MTS Allstream provides local phone service. BCN and Shaw Cable provide TV and Broadband access, to a limited number of homes. NOTE: Cell or mobile phone services may be available within the LGD of Lynn Lake, Manitoba.
