Marcin Jaskulski

Marcin Jaskulski (born 11 November 1977) is a Polish-born Australian journalist based in the north-western New South Wales town of Bourke. He worked at the regional Indigenous radio station 2CUZ FM. The radio station broadcasts to many towns of New South Wales, including Walgett, Bourke and Brewarrina. Jaskulski writes for a number of publications.[1]

Early life

Jaskulski was born in the city of Bydgoszcz. Both of his parents were members of the Solidarity movement in communist Poland. They were involved in the Bydgoszcz events of March 1981. In 1988 the family were granted political asylum in Australia. His great-uncle is Franciszek Jerzy Jaskulski.

Education

Jaskulski initially studied at the Australian National University before graduating from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Communication (Honours) degree. In 2008 he completed a Masters in International Studies at the University of Sydney.
