Maria Espinosa

Maria Espinosa is a Latina novelist, poet, and translator.[1][2]

Life
She studied at Harvard University and Columbia University, and graduated from San Francisco State University with an MA in Creative Writing. She taught at New College of California, and at City College of San Francisco.
She lived in Paris and married the Chilean writer Mario Espinosa Wellmann (died 1981); they had a daughter, Carmen. They moved to California. In 1978 she married Walter Selig, who has three children by a former marriage: Lisa, Naomi, and David.
