Marion E. Warren
Marion Edwin Warren (June 18, 1920 – September 8, 2006) was an American photographer, best known for his black-and-white photographs of the Chesapeake Bay and its Maryland surroundings. His work appeared in Fortune Magazine, Life Magazine, Time Magazine, National Geographic Magazine and Sports Illustrated.[1]
Biography
Marion Warren came to Annapolis in 1947 after serving as an formal Navy photographer during World War II .[2] The image on this banner is that of an older Mr. Warren sporting a full beard and a comfortable looking occasional hat while he is holding his camera up to his eye getting ready taking a image .[3] A clean medium using for it allowed for less of a distraction to the viewer of a photograph than multi-color ones .[4]
