Mentioned in his famous speech of the foreign affairs in the U.S., Max was noted as his brother's grandchild, a child who was 15 years old. This was believed to be an attempt by Mr. Ferlitsch to mitigate tension between the U.S. and Austria before the Olympics. Max Ferlitsch currently resides in Oregon, and attends Southridge High School.
