Meg Elis

Meg Ann Elis (born 1950) is a Welsh politician and member of Plaid Cymru. Meg Elis stood for the Delyn constituency in the National Assembly for Wales election, 2007

Meg Elis was born in Aberystwyth and currently lives in Waunfawr, Caernarfon.

Meg Elis runs her own translation and writing business, NEWID, and has mainly worked as a translator in the past. She has also worked as a journalist and radio producer.

Her political interests include small-medium sized enterprises, and sustainable development. Meg is also keen to see the development of the Arts in Wales as a source of long-term employment creator.

In her spare time, Meg Elis enjoys creative writing, and has won the National Eisteddfod Prose Medal. She also enjoys travelling.
