The Miss Universe Zambia is a beauty pageant to select a delegate for the Miss Universe pageant.

History

Miss Universe Zambia identified to held for first time in 1995. The pageant was led by Wendy Chanda-Fornari in Lusaka, Zambia. Since 2011 the pageant did not held more.

The reigning Miss Universe Zambia 2010 is Alice Musukwa, who was crowned on May 28, 2010 in Lusaka. She was the representative for Zambia at the Miss Universe 2010 pageant.

  • 2004: Cynthia Kanema was crowned as Miss Africa International 2004.
  • 2005: Mofya Nickoleta Chisenga was placed as 4th Runner-up at Miss Tourism Queen International 2005.
  • 2012: Mofya Nickoleta Chisenga died at age 28, reportedly due to complications after childbirth.[1]
  • 2009: Andella Chileshe Matthews was dethroned after she competed at the Miss Universe 2009 in Nassau, the Bahamas.[2]
