The Mississauga Library System (MLS) services Mississauga, Ontario with 17 branch libraries plus the Central Library, which has five floors of material.

Central Library

The Central Library is located at 301 Burnhamthorpe Road West, near the Mississauga Civic Centre. Central is the largest library of the Mississauga Library System and, as implied by the name, functions as the main library for the system.

The Central Library has four floors divided by subject departments: Children's Materials, "Readers' Den" (Fiction), Sciences & Business, and Arts & History. The fifth floor of the library is reserved for studying.

The Library offers many services and programs such as story times, March Break activities and a telephone dial-a-story service. Resources range from advice to parents on choosing books to internet resources for kids.
