Moshe Ivgy (Hebrew: משה איבגי‎; born 29 November 1953) is a Moroccan-born Israeli actor and director.[1]

Biography

Moshe Ivgy was born in Casablanca, Morocco.[2] He was married to actress Irit Sheleg.[3] Their daughter Dana Ivgy is also an actress.[4] After divorcing Irit, he married Oreet, with whom he has two children, Ella and Lily.[5]

Ivgy directed And on the Third Day.[6] He co-starred with his daughter Dana in the 2010 film Haiu Leilot.[7]

Ivgy experimented with Scientology, and spent some six months studying its teachings. He abandoned it, stating "it is an insane business... Those at the top earn billions and he (the average member) is destitute."[8]

On Feb. 2016, it was published by Israeli media that Ivgy was accused by several women of sexual harassment.[9]
