My Father's Place was a music venue located in Roslyn, New York.[1] Many of the concerts organized and broadcast by the radio station WLIR (92.7 FM at that time) were recorded at the club, some of them are available as official releases and bootlegs.

History

Opening on 30 May 1971, the club hosted an estimated 3,000 artists performing 6,000 shows during its 16-year run. The first show was Woodstock opener Richie Havens. The final performance was by the funk rock band Tower of Power on 3 May 1987.[2]
