Naïm Kattan, OC CQ FRSC (born August 26, 1928) is a Canadian novelist, essayist and critic of Iraqi Jewish origin.

Born in Baghdad, Iraq, he studied at the University of Baghdad from 1945 until 1947 and at the Sorbonne from 1947 until 1951. He emigrated to Montreal in 1954. He is the author of more than 30 books, translated into several languages.

In 2013, the Canadian director Joe Balass directed a documentary titled La longueur de l'alphabet avec Naïm Kattan about Kattan's literary legacy.
