National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB, abbreviated as Nevs, is a Swedish holding company, that has acquired the assets of Saab Automobile AB from a bankruptcy estate in 2012. Company focuses on the development of electric vehicles and sustainable mobility services.

On August 31, 2012, National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB acquired the main assets of the Saab Automobile bankruptcy estates. In December 2015 the company signed a strategic collaboration agreement with the Chinese company Panda New Energy Co, which is a new energy vehicle leasing company with focus on low emission mobility solutions. According to the agreement, Nevs will provide Panda with 150,000 9-3 sedan electric vehicles until the end of 2020.[1]

NME Holdings

NME Holdings Ltd. is the main owner of Nevs. The company was founded in 2004 by main owner Kai Johan Jiang. NME Holdings is the owner of State Holdings, a Beijing-based enterprise which has pioneered development of renewable, clean energy in China.

THT

THT, where Nevs’ new energy vehicle factory and R&D joint venture will be located, is one of the first Chinese national Hi-tech industrial parks, and have attracted numbers of multinationals to invest and manufacture. Now there are more than 10,000 companies registered in THT, including 6,000 hi-tech companies, and the area has become an important base for science and technology innovation.

State Research Information Technology Co., Ltd. (SRIT)

SRIT is a leading IT provider owned by the State Council Development Research Center and the telecom giant China Unicom. The company has around 750 employees in China, and taken on projects for leading companies and academic institutions.
